IndigoRenderer_x64_v4.2.21.tar.gz

Indigo for Mac OS X (10.9 - ):
IndigoRenderer4.2.21.dmg

Indigo RT for Windows 64-bit:
IndigoRT_x64_4.2.21_Setup.exe

Indigo RT for Linux 64-bit:
IndigoRT_x64_v4.2.21.tar.gz

Indigo RT for Mac OS X (10.9 - ):
IndigoRT4.2.21.dmg

Changelog:
4.2.21
* GPU: Added support for orthographic and spherical camera modes.
* Changed the way material mask render channels work with blend materials - if the mask is set explicitly on the blend root,
that mask index is used, otherwise it is taken from the dominant child.
* Fixed bug with garbled image when resuming a render in GPU mode.
* Improved convergence when resuming GPU renders.
* Fixed issues with .so loading on Linux.
* Fixed crash when selecting objects when the opengl preview is enabled in some cases.
* Fixed recently-introduced fireflies with original sky model and bidir.
* GPU: Fixed specular-reflectivity shader parameters for Phong materials not working.
* Merged remembering of last image saved paths for all save types - tonemapped, untonemapped, layers and channels and IGIs.
* When saving single-channel EXRs, set channel name to "Y". Fixes single-channel EXRs sometimes loading as red.
* Reverted to just using RGBA without the layer names for EXR layer names.
* Indigo uninstaller now runs SkIndigo uninstaller if present on disk.
* Updated bundled SkIndigo version in Windows installer to 4.2.21.1.

Exporting .exr image as 32bit / PIZ still gives funky results. Changing compression method to anything else fixes it, though. Otherwise, great build.

I still cannot not get any version of Indigo Renderer 4.0.66 load on 2 different macs on different operation systems. I have removed all traces of IR and started anew first putting the latest application in the correct folder and then installing the latest Skindigo plugin in SketchUp. I get endless requests to locate the application and choose the correct location and still it cannot find it. I really love IR and would love to move forward with versions.

Any help is appreciated…

Cheers,
Ralph

I emailed Glare on Saturday and first thing this morning I got an email from Nicholas Chapman, Managing Director with a new version of SkIndigo-4.2.21.2.rbz and all is GOOD! Many thanks for the very fast turnaround.

Cheers,
Ralph

Hi thesquirell, what program are you using to open the EXRs?

Hi OnoSendai! While using Adobe's Photoshop CC 2018, it gives that funky, "censored-with-line" look. Opening the same file inside CC 2019 fixes it, and everything looks great.

sounds like you open a multichannel EXR in PS that doesn't support it.
Doublecheck to save as single channel EXR (disable the combined checkbox in Indigo GUI settings).
Also for older PS versions try this plugin, for full multi Layer EXR usabilty: https://www.exr-io.com/
