Rhino for Mac support Maxwell

Post by contegufo » Thu Oct 27, 2016 7:34 am

Maxwell | Rhino Mac offers a brand new integration for Rhino for Mac, allowing you to work within the Rhino interface via a Maxwell toolbar. Also included with this integration is Maxwell Studio – our sophisticated standalone scene editor. This provides an additional workflow based on our Asset Reference feature, which allows live-linking to assets (.obj, etc) created in Rhino from within Maxwell Studio.

The plugin + Studio workflow is bundled together in one easy installation package, and includes the entire suite of Maxwell tools – for integrated features see the list below.

I have to wonder: do people post Indigo news on eg. Maxwell and Octane forums? Like, what's the benefit here for Indigo users?

I was wondering the same thing, when it is a new render engine, or when comparing both one might understand, but I fail to see the relevance to indigo users

No-one expressed any interest, that's what happened to that.

I was in favor of having the Rhino to Mac. I export in C4D but then the plugins that we are doing if in the end he uses only one or maybe two (Max)?

Que?

Noted ;)

I've been quite busy, but if you have a chance to have a play with the current version, maybe let me know what would be the most crucial next feature to have? I never really use Rhino for rendering, and it would be good to have external input as to what is the most important stuff to support.
