Indigo for Cinema 4D 4.0.42

This release might contain some serious bugs and usability issues. If you notice something weird, please let me know.


Windows:

Indigo Renderer:
indigo-for-cinema-4d-4.0.42-installer.exe - Includes installers for R11.5 - R15

Indigo RT:
indigo-rt-for-cinema-4d-4.0.42-installer.exe - Includes installers for R11.5 - R15

The R15 build should work fine with R16 and later.

Mac:

Indigo Renderer
indigo-for-c4d-4.0.42-R11-mac.zip
indigo-for-c4d-4.0.42-R115-mac.zip
indigo-for-c4d-4.0.42-R12-mac.zip (R12 version works with R13)
indigo-for-c4d-4.0.42-R14-mac.zip (R14 version works with R15 and probably later versions)

* Updated to indigo 4.0.42 sdk.

* New materials use Roughness channel, while old still retain the Exponent.
* Added button for conversion from Exponent to Roughness in Exponent channel.
* Much more complete material representation.
* Added filmic tonemapper.
* Added FastSSS material.
* Added a seperate channel for Base Emission.
* Added support for tabulated spectrum.
* Added support for num_smoothings.
* Added support for clamp contribution.
* Selectable light layers for sun and sky.
* Fixes and additions for material import (new channels, new materials, missing stff).
* Fixed bug with materials previews and materials linking the same material twice.
* Exporting point lights as meshes in some cases.
* User defined white point.
* Cindigo now prevents users from making circular references in materials.
* And probably a lot more...

hello,

- five digit after comma in Cauchy b coeff, only three digit value possible in Cindigo
idem for value in SSS / uniform

- f-stop max is 128, 256 possible in cindigo

- Max num consecutive rejections : 2147483647 (max accepted by Indigo), in Cindigo max value is 100000
idem for Max Depth, max value could be really higher

Really is not possible to have more decimals in cinema 4D?

I hacked up a custom gui for Real values back in the day, but it was kinda dodgy. Could try again?

Kinda was hoping for the progressive render window too (like for the material prview's now in Indigo)..for this release. :((

++ Kudos on fixing the Mat preview's inside C4D now Indigo prev's don't crash.

Hopefully nearly as fast as it used to be. Much faster in some cases (watch the log while rendering in the editor :D ).

In OpenGL (app Cinema) the texture is correct and working well with old Cindigo.
Now with new Cindigo (C4D 13/15/17) does not work anymore!
