Hi.
Seems that supersampling factor remains fix in level two.
Could anyone confirm?
Thanks Oscar for the clarifications, I just don´t read the limitations. :)

Re: Indigo Renderer 4 public beta
No, supersampling works fine for me.
Re: Indigo Renderer 4 public beta
Yes sorry, works fine. It´s just a change of behaviour, now a SS 10 is bright very soon and has another feeling.

Re: Indigo Renderer 4 public beta
Hello, i wanted to try it out but seems like this beta dont like AMD Phenom cpu's, since the trial of 3.8 had worked like a charm (just to mention it).
The 4.0.30 crashes just on startup. even on older INTEL-CPU's as it seems.
Looking foward to further beta-states.

What's your exact CPU model?
We raised the minimum CPU requirements to SSE4.1 support, so it looks like AMD phenoms are too old.

Is it normal to read:
Global Memory 6.000GB
Max Allocation 1.500GB
??

Re: Indigo Renderer 4 public beta
Good day to everyone ) Thanks a lot for fourth version of my most likely renderer - it's awesome!
I have а little issue - Indigo can't detect my GPU's (Intel HD 3000 on Ci7 2700K and FX5800) with newest drivers, so I can't test it with GPU. Please check it

Re: Indigo Renderer 4 public beta
HD3000 didn't support OpenCL at all so you can't use it. Me too having the same GPU on my laptop I did use an external GPU.Arkon wrote:Good day to everyone ) Thanks a lot for fourth version of my most likely renderer - it's awesome!

You need at least OpenCL 1.1 support, you find here a list
https://www.khronos.org/conformance/ado ... cts#opencl
Your Quadro FX 5800 is listed with OpenCL 1.1 support so need to work, not using Nvidia myself I think you need to look at drivers version reading other posts in this thread.

Re: Indigo Renderer 4 public beta
my renders seem to start just fine but after about 2 or 3 image update it just stops. I have 2 Radeon 7970 Ghz 3GB. happens regardless if i have either or both cards selected. im on windows 10 latest updates latest AMD drivers.

Re: Indigo Renderer 4 public beta
[BUG] ?
Can't seem to be able to import Fast SSS materials back into Indigo.
This error message pops up.
[BUG 2] (Minor)
When rendering a scene or just creating a Material.
After closing the scene or Material the interactive preview keep on sampling.
Scene still in memory?? Not causing any problems....but worth a look.
[BUG3]
OpenCL kernel will be optimized i know.
I didn't had any problems with the scene of Oscar & Arthur in therms of kernel building and time.
But i did import a project from c4d and instancing seems to be a problem for OpenCL kernel building.
Time of building raises exponentially so much that the scene won't even load or it takes more than two minutes.
Maybe new exporter will fix it?
BTW can we have this interactive window inside Cindigo? For progressive preview of a scene?
Would be superb.

Hello, thanks for the info. Damn my old Xeon X3440 Supports SSE4.1 but doesnt post anymore :DOnoSendai wrote:Hi,kotov_meow wrote:Hello, i wanted to try it out but seems like this beta dont like AMD Phenom cpu's, since the trial of 3.8 had worked like a charm (just to mention it).

Re: Indigo Renderer 4 public beta
Hi Everyone, good and bad news:
The bad news is that your benchmark numbers are now obsolete.
The good news is that Indigo's GPU rendering is now quite a bit faster, and compiles the kernels faster!
Also Oscar's scene has been optimised and renders a lot faster anyway.
Changelog:
4.0.31
* GPU PT: Various optimisations, makes rendering ~10% faster on Oscar's McLaren scene.
* GPU PT: OpenCL kernel builds should be much faster. (18.41 s down to 10.51 s on McLaren scene)
* GPU PT: Added support for 2 (was 1) uv sets on GPU.
* Fixed incorrect UVs in OpenGL preview for num uv sets > 1.
* Fixed "next image update in" status bar status for GPU rendering. (was just showing 'updating image')
* Indigo UI: Renamed "GPU acceleration" to "OpenCL rendering", colour coding the OpenCL device list by CPU/GPU type and labelling devices as such.
* Fixed problem with Linux build.
I've updated the first post in the thread with the new download links.

Re: Indigo Renderer 4 public beta
When in material I change from diffuse material to phong it crashes. I have a GTX 560 TI
Re: Indigo Renderer 4 public beta
Hi
Added measured BRDF support
What it means, is a type of material?
