This deserves to be on the front page!
Re: Indigo Renderer 4 public beta
I think you misunderstand. The picture you quoted spells it out, if you bought Indigo v3.8 new then you get upgraded to v4 for free.DJ AntOn wrote:But what about the promised free upgrade for users of version 3?
I'm sad
Re: Indigo Renderer 4 public beta
What is ?? ))))
Indigo 3.8.31- 252s/px, 593k/sec
Indigo 4.030 - 193s/px, 519k s/sec !!! less

Re: Indigo Renderer 4 public beta
Mac Pro - Double -AMD FirePro D300
OSX .10.11.4
Oscar: 4.270 M/s
Arthur: 0.447 M/s
See results below...both are 3min renders!! Absolutely speechless now. O.O
It's so fast!! OpenGL preview seems to be working superb now.
And the bug is gone when you drop a material in Indigo and it crashes in OSX!

Re: Indigo Renderer 4 public beta
Cool! :)
By the way Originalplan, I think you might have forgotten to select GPU rendering with the bedroom scene(?).

No funny thing is Dual GPU mode was selected...but let me double check on it.Oscar J wrote:Cool! :)

Oscar your scene takes a bit time to load aprox 10 sec, Arthurs scene loads faster but renders MUCH slower.
Your scene just flys :)
Not sure what is causing this but i guess it has something to do with the packed geometry.
Dunno will do a test again soon.
BTW: Congrats both of you Oscar & Arthur professional scene's! Oscar i love that little Indigo gizmo on the render that shows the s/p data!!
{UPDATE}

Re: Indigo Renderer 4 public beta
Thanks! :) And yeah, please do try again because the characteristic box noise from CPU rendering seems to be present in the image you attached.Originalplan® wrote:No funny thing is Dual GPU mode was selected...but let me double check on it.Oscar J wrote:Cool! :)

Errors rendering on GPU with both scenes:
Win7x64 pro, 2x Xeon X5650, 16GB
Nvidia Quadro M5000 8GB
Works only with CPU.Memory allocation failure while initializing Indigo.

Re: Indigo Renderer 4 public beta
ok - here I come
after 3min:
Mac Pro - Double -AMD FirePro D700 / 6GB
OSX .10.11.4
Oscar: 6.182 M/s
Arthur: 2.700 M/s
quite impressing! congrats!
I hope there will be some kind of live preview in the 3d progs? maybe cpu for preview, gpu for final rendering?
that would be a huge benefit for work - please in cinema 4d!
what are there prices for the upgrade 3 to 4?
