At this moment is not implemented.
If you want to experiment use an external material.
In the phase function tag you must put:
<mie_cumulus/>
But this phase function is only for clouds or mist or haze... (vapour in general).

Is the lowest speed that I have experimented in the use with indigo.
Numbers don´t seems to be correct (clones per amount of polygons don´t fit) and I´m not sure if there is a problem with it but the test are all in this way.
The thing is that even if I don´t use the doubled sided thin material I have the same speed for the scene, and in the other and 730 millions of polygons are not enough for this dramatic speed. I don´t know at this point but I will continue experimenting ...

EDIT: numbers seems correct out of the plugin used to spread the surface and a clay render is a lot faster.

21h of process, 146k samples/second , 7177 samples/pixel.
Bidirectional path tracing. Maybe for the next test I use metropolis.

The interesting band color present in mie_cumulus.
I believed that are glories when I saw it time ago over clouds.
What kind of phisic behaviour is this?

Holy crap, that last one is amazing. :D The forest shot had better clouds in your first test render though, IMO.

Hi.
The first time I saw this effect was over the clouds. At the first time I though it is a glory.
It is described with mie_cumulus. Here two pics related with this optical phenomenon.
Seems almost an aproximation to this , but nobody knows about at the moment (awaiting for some words from Ono (maybe))...
I expect that it is not a bug!!

Hi. Thanks to all. Specially agree with Polinalkrimizei (Ono, you are awesome. Indigo just ROCKS).
And specially thanks to silverwings; not a polished work but there are a lot little things of interest (and no few errors).

More over Iwill try some foam for this scene.
Tomorrow I will test if only 1000 samples/pixels divided in five pictures with different seeds and the help of neat video (Zom-B´s thread) could do a better work.
If it is possible to aleatory change the seed every X samples/pixel the problem with fireflies could be solved (because the firsts fireflies appears at some time of render). Once (so many time ago) I did a test with 20 seeds and the result was fine (but this is a tedius work; strat, stop, change in XML the seed, start.... and finally mix all of them). I assume that it is not possible to aleatory (or not) change the seed in the run...

EDIT:
 not the best scene to test the seed´s denoising because of the amount of SSS needs "temperature" (time) to looks good! For other ocasion. In adition the picture is perfect in twice of the time...

I looked at some fog + light through trees today, and didn't see anything like these bands. they may be an artifact. Can you send me the scene?
Thanks.

The scene is 295mb. How can I send you this scene? And where?
