Knew you wouldn't make such a mistake.
The silhouette version is by far the best as an album cover.

Re: kklors render stuff
wow, amazing timelaps you made here, frontpage material!
The final image somehow looks quite dull to me, the white is pushed down to 215...
I also noticed that you work with super mega low LL Brightness settings with a max of 0.5%!
Why not simply reduce the tonemapping way down and keep work with more intuitive values for the LL,
does this way you do have some special benefit?

@Zom-B:
Thanks man!
The dullness comes from the original concept being in deep fog. The scene scale was a bit experimental and the volume fog freaked out so I made it sort of foggy in post.
The low tonemapping values make no particular sense, just started this way and continued : D
Some unexpected clipping effect in a displacement map. Liked the glitchy result somehow.

I like it too, the contrast in shapes is capturing (noise vs staircases).
obsolete asset
Re: kklors render stuff
While the image is great, I find the timelapse particularly captivating.
It would be worth to do a real light layer animation!

I started dailies again. Posting stuff in here on a daily basis might get spammy, but can post either selections or bulks of week/weeks or so if people like.
Some stuff from last week.

^ What he said. I'm getting these through Facebook though, to make sure I'm not missing anything. Can't believe you managed to do 005b in a day! Love the pickup and the guy who looks like he's dragging someone over the field.

Re: kklors render stuff
Thanks so much people <3
Will just post them in bulks every week. Might also do non Indigo renders once in a while too, to play around. Like Krakatoa or other tools.
