SkIndigo 3.6.28.2 (beta)

Post by OnoSendai » Fri May 30, 2014 10:49 pm

Hello,

This is a bugfix release. See changelog below for details.

This is a beta release - please test. Please install Indigo 3.6.26 or newer before this version. Get it from here: http://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/vie ... =1&t=12701

To Install:
On windows, you can use the Windows installer.
Otherwise:
1) Download RBZ file from link below
2) In SketchUp, go to Window->Preferences->Extensions
3) Uncheck the SkIndigo checkbox, press OK, restart SketchUp
4) In SketchUp, go to Window->Preferences->Extensions->Install Extension
5) Select the RBZ file you downloaded
6) Check the SkIndigo checkbox again.
7) Restart Sketchup again.

NOTE: this elaborate process is to make sure the asset files get updated properly, which doesn't work if the extension is enabled.

Changelog:

Fixed scene tab animation not working.
Improved the way drop-down boxes are set in the material editor.

RBZ file: (all platforms)
http://downloads.indigorenderer.com/dis ... 6.28.2.rbz

Windows Installer:
http://downloads.indigorenderer.com/dis ... taller.exe

Let us know if there are any problems with this beta release!

Having issues exporting scenes with the new version. It works ok with new scenes created in sketchup but existing files used with previous versions of skindigo do not export. Indigo never even launches. Exporting these to IGS files results in 0kb empty files. Is it just me?

This is all I got from Ruby Console. It seems to start to export, then literally just stops... no Indigo error message, just nothing happens...

Traversed model and got instances in 0.099 seconds.
Built meshes in 0.758 seconds.

Looks like an old ruby version problem. What sketchup version are you running?

EDIT: nvm, obviously Google SketchUp 8.
