SSP limit / Halt Time Adjustability during render

Post by Voytech » Fri May 16, 2014 6:31 am

Would it be possible to enable the changing of ssp and halt time limits once render is started?

Try to change it in the queue list (it should work, but never tested) .

Yes, you can edit the halt parameters in the render Q BUT:

if you wanna go for 1000 and start typing 1... render halts immediately -.-
So you need to copy & past a value here!

The predefined halt condition is still valid, so once reached before the Render Q value... render halts!

Curiosities...
Then, if high values are defined in the inifile.xml and pasting the values carefully ... Works?
In the inifile.xml is about to add this two lines in the render settings section with the desired max. parameter:

Code: Select all

		<halt_time>-1</halt_time>
		<halt_samples_per_pixel>-1</halt_samples_per_pixel>
Thanks in advanced.

EDIT: works fine, thanks for the tip, Zom-B.
the value of -1 means no halt>infinite time, spp...
