WOW!   Is that still functional ?
Looks like some post apocalyptic mutation of an electronics project. Awesome render!

I make my own PCBs and this is fully appreciated ;-)

That shot with the shallow DoF and all is artistic in itself!

@galinette: Haha I totally understand what you mean. Especially with the projector bulb. It would be really wasted resources if you'd burn it on TV reality shows!
I'm on this boat with photography as well. Call me a total hipster, but I'm shooting on 1GB cards with my sLR or dSLR in RAW. When you can shoot only 30 shots you're not wasting time at shooting flower macros or whatnot.

@Headroom: Thanks! Your hackvana board looks awesome!

Had also to clean up my HDDs and found my very first Indigo render. It's attached.
Funny fact is that I was in Daily render 'do a render in an hour' stress back then.
I wasted 30 minutes on that fugly pink thing there and was really pissed off about Indigo. In fact I really hated it after using it the first time in a rush.

That day, I rendered the same geometry in 3Delight:

It took me 25 days to come back to Indigo and make this render:

And this the day after:

And using Indigo ever since. Lots of time went by for sure.

Haha wasn't meant to sound dramatic at all. Just found the very old stuff and had to look at things in retrospective : D
