[REQ] Material ID render option in Indigo GUI

Post by tar_gniK » Thu Jan 23, 2014 11:12 pm

Hey Glare, long time no post.

I was just wondering if in future versions it would be possible to see an option for the render of a Material ID pass in the Indigo standalone GUI - at the moment, with Maxigo (which I still use of a number of reasons - despite the rise of IndigoMax) you must tick the option, and then export the scene.

There are times where you may render the scene as normal, but then the need for a Material ID pass becomes apparent - or you may just forget.

Sometimes with millions of polys, export times can be quite long.

I thinking something along the lines with what has been done with the alpha pass option - where to stop the render, tick the box, and away you go.
