I'm afraid that a binary voxel format would prevent me from using the feature, anyway...
Req: To have media inherit the shared code and params from the materials using them. Or having them bear their own shared data. Scattering and absorbtion normally use similar shaders.
Req: multifractal takes a float for octaves but shows a stepping behavior (was it type 0 ?). I think that the fraction should multiply the last octave's intensity (and/or its scale ? One of the three options).
