... but did you guys remove the 'roughness' en 'reflection' sliders from SkIndigo?

Gotta run. I just remembered there's ice cream in the freezer.

Ah, Blender and weed -a perfect combo to kickstart one's descent into madness. 8)

On a more serious note, why were the sliders taken out? They were brilliant.

They are not removed...when you open skindingo material editor, press UI button and you'll see them again. More UI with advanced settings is now on default when you open skindigo material editor.

That's just it -I don't have a UI button. Freaky. Maybe a clean re-install will help. I vaguely remember having problems with the SkIndigo UI some years back. Updating something -forgot what- helped. Might be that.

Cheers.

What a weird thing to do, Ono. As far as I'm concerned, those sliders were absolutely brilliant. Made making materials very straightforward. Not sure how others feel, though.

On my side, I never used them.
I guess the "simple" GUI mode could absolutely help the beginners on their first steps, btw.

Never? How odd. Architects!

Anyway, I found them exceptionally handy. Elegant, too. Better yet: if those sliders hadn't been in SkIndigo to begin with, I'd probably never bought an Indigo license.

Guess we will add them back then.
I removed them because I thought it is confusing to have 2 editing modes.

It is, truth be told. But I'd not throw out the baby with the bath water. That said, if it's only me who wants the sliders back ... Little point then, I'd say.
