About the banding, if it was to persist coming out of Indigo make sure that the dithering option is set on (it is on by default I think).

The tag is <dithering> if you want to check about it into the IGS; it should be true to avoid banding.

Here's a version with less banding (16 bit). PS didn't allow me to work with 32 bit using adjustment layers, but at least there's less off it.

Thanks!

Been working on some smoke for my Viper render. Have to render it out using the horrible BI renderer, and comp it together in PS.

Will be rerendering the driver and side window (which had the normals wrongly flipped). Any other suggestions? Sharper shadows, maybe?

Sweet smoke do you have there!
Does it also have a shadow pass, since it should :)

can you tell a little more about how you brought that fluid sim into indigo?!

Thanks man! :) I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I didn't. The smoke simulation was just rendered with Blenders internal renderer, and then composited into the image. I couldn't see any other efficient way to do it - I'm an absolute rookie with volumetrics in Indigo, and looking at CTZns thread (no offence, I love what you're doing), Indigo doesn't seem to be very useful for rendering smoke at this point.

I like it. A few particles figuring gravel ejection from the tires would add to the picture !

Yeah the first one is pretty much unedited. Guess I did something right then! :)

Just messing around with some point lights. I am thinking the glass needs some kind of gradient. Your take?

Great renderings :)

I have free moments and try add more postproduction to your works:
( if you do not want them here, I remove it  )
