Thanks! I was able to fit the car to the backplate by eye pretty well without using spherical lens. The panorama backplate is just an image that came with the HDRI that I used.

Highlights with a different position (different pov) in the reflection give the impression of distortion I believe, it's okay.

Here's what I ended up with. I'll probably do some different angles in the same scene, so stay tuned. :)

It is very nice. Probably there should be more light sources corresponding to the image with equal brightness

BAM that last one is truly killer.

With such a realistic render I probably couldn't resist screwing it up on purpose to make it look like it's shot a cheap cam : D With yellow auto white balance, colored noise and such.
