Thanks! I was able to fit the car to the backplate by eye pretty well without using spherical lens. The panorama backplate is just an image that came with the HDRI that I used.kklors wrote:Nice!
Is that panorama render actually stitched post render or rendered with spherical lens?

Highlights with a different position (different pov) in the reflection give the impression of distortion I believe, it's okay.

Re: Oscar's rendering thread
Here's what I ended up with. I'll probably do some different angles in the same scene, so stay tuned.

Re: Oscar's rendering thread
Awesome. Now it just needs to render clean.
If you send us the scene PIGS we could bake it for you
I always like to have nice car scenes to test with as well

Here's a little something that I'm working on. Kinda tricky lighting situation actually. PLease tell me what you think!
Re: Oscar's rendering thread
It is very nice. Probably there should be more light sources corresponding to the image with equal brightness

Looks like a photo to me
Re: Oscar's rendering thread
BAM that last one is truly killer.
With such a realistic render I probably couldn't resist screwing it up on purpose to make it look like it's shot a cheap cam : D With yellow auto white balance, colored noise and such.
