GPU acceleration and non path tracing

Post by Bosseye » Fri May 31, 2013 3:25 am

How do, this may have been covered somewhere in the 'update' threads, but I've not noticed if so - does GPU acceleration support any tracing method other than 'Path Tracing' yet? If not, is it likely to at some stage?

Just curious as all the renders I want to get done quickly require me to use BiDirMLT to get decent results meaning I can't use GPU acceleration. I'd like the speed boost I get with the GPU to get them smooth in something quicker than 4 days.....

Thanks,

Meaning its currently not an option but will be at some stage in the future?
