i have managed to make a close-up scene, and noticed after some changes i dont really recall all of them that i created a focused view of this specific object only because it was in closure with the camera... like Steve Urkel used to say... "Did i Do that?"
thank you pp's

Hi Mongoose, are you asking a question ?
If yes that is unclear; it would be best to post an image illustrating your says.

Re: Fucusing on a close-up object
Sketchup? In the SKIndigo render settings, camera tab, theres a button called 'pick focal point' which lets you select anywhere on the model that the camera will focus on. Then just set up your F values in camera settings to suit - as far as I know, and very simply, a wide aperture (like f/5, not f/50) lets more light in and gives better depth of field effects, ie blurry closer and further away from the camera. Others will know more about this than me though!

That's what you meant to say, right.......... riiiiight?Bosseye wrote:a wide aperture (like f/2.8 lets more light in but gives less depth of field which blurs behind and in front of the focus point more.
