Spherical EXR
Spherical EXR
I've rendered a spherical EXR. In Indogo 3.6.9, it looks good (top image) and after export as EXR, there is something wrong (bottom image) (viewed in Luminance or used as environment in Indigo). Any ideas?

Re: Spherical EXR
Saving of EXRs was broken. Will be fixed in 3.6.11.
Re: Spherical EXR
While you're at it... add OpenEXR 2.0 support.
Re: Spherical EXR
Just saw they released a new version
I don't see anything too pressing that Indigo needs though.

Re: Spherical EXR
Well, the EXRs Indigos does save are about twice as huge as saved from Photoshop or C4D, that kind of sucks if saving EXRs for animations, also layered EXRs could be nice to save LightLayers on them ...OnoSendai wrote:I don't see anything too pressing that Indigo needs though.

Re: Spherical EXR
That's nothing to do with EXR 2.0.Zom-B wrote:Well, the EXRs Indigos does save are about twice as huge as saved from Photoshop or C4D, that kind of sucks if saving EXRs for animations, also layered EXRs could be nice to save LightLayers on them ...OnoSendai wrote:I don't see anything too pressing that Indigo needs though.
Re: Spherical EXR
I wasn't referring to v2.0, but EXR "features" in general.OnoSendai wrote:That's nothing to do with EXR 2.0.
Quoting half of your comment was maybe not the best decision, and caused confusion...

Re: Spherical EXR
Indigo saves 32 bit EXRs, not 16 bit EXRs. Maybe that accounts for the size difference.Zom-B wrote:Well, the EXRs Indigos does save are about twice as huge as saved from Photoshop or C4D,
