HDR has less dynamic range than 32bit float EXR, and takes about twice the size (just tested conversion with photoshop). It's outdated!!

OK, it's not a good reason not to support old formats... But converting all HDRs to EXRs is a good idea.

Indigo had early adopted the hdr probe format.
