C4D Indigo Exporter 0.56.7
Hi all,
sorry for being away for so long, I guess this will happen again 'cause I'm really full of work (no holidays this year).
Well, here is a new version that should be compatible with last 0.6 test 1 changes for background element.
Since just an element can be used this is the order:
1- If env maps are used they take precedence (i.e. file name in config tag)
2- If a sun is defined skylight is used
3- If no env maps and no sun then background is used (currently cannot disable it)
http://www.bytejuggler.com/CinemaPlugin ... 0.59.7.zip
Not really tested but I couldn't let the chance to work on the exporter slip away
As I said I don't know how much time I'll be able to dedicate in the future so if someone wants to help development please drop me an email (see readme.txt for address).
Byez and take care,
BL

found something...
Hey BL.... thank you very much for this great Exporter!!!
I used it while testing some Indigo Light settings & stuff, and found two little bugs:
1)
If you duplicate a Mesh Light in Cinema, that has the Light Tag,
the Settings always jumps back to "peak Style" but Type stays RGB or Black Body...
The good news is, that your Exporter still exports it the way the duplication Source is.
(All other options in the Indigo Tags seem to stay normal, after duplication!)
**EDIT**
This also happens if you duplicate the Light Tag by holding CTRL and draging the Tag to another Object!
2)
If you export a Scene without using the "Render Configuration" Tag,
your Exporter just writes this background Information to the XML:
Two Ideas for the next release would be a default black Background color,
and perhapes a line of code in The XML to get the version Number
of the Exporter it was created with...
I know you are very busy dude, but I just want tell this stuff before I forget it

Hi Everybody...
I found another Bug
It Seems the Exporter Exports "Area lights" (Flächen Lichter)
even if you havn't taged them with an "Light Tag" for export.
By doing this it doesn't export it the right way, but only exports a
rectanglelight even if you got other options activated in C4D...
Hereis a small C4D example File to get the point.

Hey Camox...
I'm working with C4D 9.6...
If you use 9.6 too, please check the ReadMe of the Exporter:

P.S.- If using C4D 9.5+ delete the IndigoExporter.cdl file in the plugin dir and rename IndigoExporter9521.cd_ to IndigoExporter9521.cdl

I found another realy realy small Bug, a wrong description:
Ok its German, there is writen, that the settings will be saved in the inifile.txt,
but actually its just the XML the exporter writes to!

He he... yeah iOnStallion, I'm from Germany... or to be more specific:
"Ich bin ein Hamburger Jung und ich komm voll in Schwung,
Wenn ich huepf' und spring und von Hamburg sing."
My english isn't this good, but its understandable (at last I hope so )
P.S.
Hey Camox, did the change of the .cdl file the magic, or do you still got Problems with the Exporter?
