Simple Renderings Thread

Yes: to much noise, let it render longertarikb wrote:Any suggestions?
I would also try to raise tonemapping for a nicer friendlier and not so dark look.
Give "agfapan-apx-400CD" a chance its great for interiors and still has some little more contrast then linear TM.
Also your lamps doesn't look like the would light that much of the scene... raise emission strength here, and mix the plastic material with some Diffuse Transmitter.
Some window in the kitchen area behind the camera would be nice too
And don't forget some balcony!

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
This work is based on an image I've seen elsewhere
With a twist, it uses the golden ratio wherever possible.
Re: Simple Renderings Thread
I love it, great rendering!
What a pitty it wouldn't be aloud to build such a staircase in germany without handrail
I love the rendering, specially the smoooooothiness of light
However this kind of architecture wouldn't be the place to live for me, why having bedroom above your kitchen, all in one room....
best regards
Markus

Ehi Pixie, let us know: the first image is your render or your reference image?

My feelings precisely, I love the balance and the picture, but I can't imagine what house would that be...Mor4us wrote:However this kind of architecture wouldn't be the place to live for me, why having bedroom above your kitchen, all in one room....
It's the reference image.Pibuz wrote:Ehi Pixie, let us know: the first image is your render or your reference image?

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
From some material tests I've made, I've found that a blend between diffuse and specular cleans faster then a high exponent phong. It's a bit like fake glass, but for planar surfaces such as floor an furniture such as this it should be negligible.
Re: Simple Renderings Thread
Not a house but flat/apartment for a couple or a single? Why not? When you don't have children and don't like your friends to sleep over - it could be quite comfie. Flat for rent or on the other hand just a part of the house when you're having many guests often. BTW the bed looks good on the render ;P, whos says u need to have a bedroom there? The bed is not a wife - you can move it ;>pixie wrote:My feelings precisely, I love the balance and the picture, but I can't imagine what house would that be...Mor4us wrote:However this kind of architecture wouldn't be the place to live for me, why having bedroom above your kitchen, all in one room....
ENSLAVER:
I love the color, composition and almost everything on this rendering. Is that some kind of computer generated thing or modelled?
Cheers

Thanks! It's a free 3dsmax plugin called Greeble, I'm not sure whether there are similar plugins for other apps, you would have to post on the respective forums.JK wrote: ENSLAVER:
