Re: Simple Renderings Thread
Is that concrete wall modelled or just bump/normal maps?
Looks awesome!
Looks awesome!
Re: Simple Renderings Thread
Thx spider, glad you like it!
Most of the concrete wall is texture based, i've only added some small details in foreground that didn't work that good with texture only, espacially for the armory locks (bewehrungsschlösser?)
I've added a wire for you

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
Really really well done, I love concrete walls in general and that is perfection!
Re: Simple Renderings Thread
Hi DCM.
Nice renders, but it's not really possible to do realistic leaves currently in Indigo.
You will be able to make much better renders when we release the new double sided thin material. I'll post some info on this soon.

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
@ dcm, when will you finally admit you're just taking pictures Besides that, excellent work
@ Mor4us, thanks for posting the wireframe! Useful to see this, I'm that kind of person who would just leave it as is or model everything, but doing just a part seems to be very effective

Re: Simple Renderings Thread
Here's a little render of a camera lens assembly I have been playing around with (it's supposed to be a retrofocus lens, I think. Whatever this actually means ).
So, yes, I basically modeled the whole camera (lenses, aperture, sensor, casing).
In this one I tried to get some decent lens flares.
6h 20m, 17000spp.
