Yup, that's what the scattering stuff is for!
I think there are problems with scattering and quads currently, so I don't think it will work currently.
No problems, I can triangulate the 2x2 ground square
But I have this tiled marble shader to finish, it's somewhat complex. I would have questions on ISL optimization methods, but not in this topic
