Problem with indigo and sketchup, please help

Post by lcarlin247 » Sun Jun 17, 2012 9:18 am

hi everybody since, i installed indigo i have been having a lot of problems mostly with some warning messages each time i open sketchup and each time i click on any of the indigo buttons, the message says

locate indigo.exe

and when i locate it i have to do the same like 10 times till it stops asking about it, but its so annoying i have to do it a lot of times, i will attach some images so you can see the problem = S

i also have to say that i have done the installation process a lot of times, and i have even seen tutorials from the indigo page of how to install indigo and the same thing happens everytime...

In your picture the dialog shows the setup but you have to navigate to the installed exe.

You certainly shouldn't install applications downloaded from not-so-trustworthy sites, or even possibly cracked software. If your intention is to only use the trial version rather get it directly from out servers: http://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/vie ... =1&t=11690

It is a delicate point.

Helping him would encourage such behaviour wich is frankly not corporate compatible.

Still we are in presence of someone who could use some well-intentioned advices.

Muting is probably not the most constructive choice :)

Sorry.
So, a good answer would be:

Lcarlin: once installed the skindigo plugin, the first time it asks you to point it to the exact indigo.exe location.
Clearly, the crack does not work as it should.
As an option, you could follow CTZn's advice, download a real official updated demo, evaluate the software and consider to buy it.

If you are a little short on money, my suggestion is to wait until next Indigo Renderer release, and enjoy the discounts GlareTech offers.

I never said that :D

Hey Pibuz, please take it easy. The situation is quite confusing in this thread, kind of the "I'm biting the mouse but it won't scream" case.

This is really me pushing you around, I'm a kiddo sorry.

I was talking about lcarlin247's request in the first place. Enough about that :)

lcarlin247, feel free to ask some decent help when you've got around the current issue.
