Okay I'd bet the carapace (exact word in french) is made out of a blend of a metallic phong with an normal one... the effect of the hairs is bluffing also.

Hi Gabich,
If you want to get a 'real' interference effect, you can modify Galinette's awesome interference-based shader ( http://www.indigorenderer.com/materials/materials/1065 )

If you increase the thickness in the shader a bit, the colours come out blue/green. here it is with thickness 1000:
