Second one. was a modeling exercise. Traditionally, when I model screws or other similar objects, I just made lots of rings and extruded them. This time, I modeled out the threads accurately. Other one was a still life. I've loved doing these ever since i stumbled across the indigo site a few years ago. :)

@ ritter

Very nice renders and V E R Y nicely modeled. What application did you use to model ?

The reason why I ask this is not because I want to start a new discussion on what the best modeler is but because for things of that technical nature in the past I have trie to models these things in Blender but have given up after a short time and just resorted to using SolidWorks or another parametric modeler/CAD software.
While one certainly can model that stuff in Blender I am personally much faster doing these particular things in SW (I am sure my 12 years of experience in SW have to do with that, nevertheless....).

Thank you Polinalkrimizei & Headroom

I use C4d for modeling.

Hey camox, its awesome!!

The only thing Im a bit curious about are the three wind turbines on the right, the light seems to come from another direction (I mean some of the direct lighting, if you used any).

Thanks all for comments ! :D

@solarray
I don't know. The turbines are huge, they are illuminated from the left side. They are far beside the house. Much closer to the source. Possible that they shine so bright. You're right, acts weird.

@Zom-B
Zombies in the cornfield? As long as the zombies are not naked. And backwards through the corn field run. :)

@ritter
Der Theodolit ist dir auch gelungen, hab ihn schon im c4dnetwork Forum bewundert. Klasse Arbeit.
