Very nice entry for the Steampunk competition!

@ Soup:

Unless you have some serious computing horsepower a single shot frame rate of 5 hours does not lend itself to even a short animation.

One could make a really low res anim ;) but that does defeat the purpose much. However doesnt the indigo team have some heavy horsepower at their disposal (in their offices)?

Thanks

I also planned an animation of it when I get a new I7 2600K. Then I would be able to render an image less than an hour.

@hcpiter: You mean the shin on the left from viewers position? It just looks like it is streched, the unwrap is ok. Its the behaviour of the texture. But you are right I would have better choosen another texture. Still have some time to fix it. Thanks for the hint

You are quite right. We would love to offer some computing power for a quality short animation of this lil guy. Lycium has to keep his house warm somehow

There is always the Ranch Renderfarm too, they could do it in no time!

Again I began focusing on an animation with this puppet. For the first time I started doing some scetches/drawings first, and wow that way you are really fast than beginning modeling first. More objects are coming beside some sketches for the story.

regards.
