Trying it out right now, actually. Motionblur works great!

GPU switch doesn't really work proper... If it's disabled, and I was using GPU accel. in a previous render, it will still be on.

Still have to try with particles and such...

Yeah, I noticed that too, and already told Yves about it.

We discussed it in the office and decided to change the priority for that setting. Scene setting > Registry.
Will be in the next version.

You need to have Python 2.6 installed for it to work.

"No installed Python found."

I found this - when I try to click on the the 'exponent' section under a material I get a python error:

Code: Select all

File "/Applications/Blender/PythonScripts/blendigo.py", line 1582, in materialGUI
IndigoUIControls.Materials.matExponentUVset = Blender.Draw.number("", IndigoEvents.evtNoEvt, gui.x, gui.y, 95, 18, IndigoUIControls.Materials.matExponentUVset.val, 0, 8, "exponent texture UV-set index")
AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'number'
this is with the Mac version.

Oops, that's a little typo, should be easy to fix.

cool-
there's one other thing I had noticed in previous versions too, the camera response functions don't show up in the Mac version under camera tonemapping. however that pathname is set doesn't work. I fixed it by putting in the absolute path to the folder in the Blendigo.py.

Hello, I have tried the new Blendigo for Blender (2.49b x64 - on Windows 7x64) and new Indigo 3.0 with a simple scene showing a gold bracelet with diamonds, and an emerald on a wood surface, lit by 3 emitting planes. It worked fine.

After that, I tried to export a huge city scene with high poly buildings and 5 detailed cars I had so far rendered with Octane. I'm trying in indigo, because I run out of memory in Octane.

I have 882 objects, one sun lamp and a camera.

All objects have materials, but I have not adjusted them because I want to do all settings in indigo, as I did with Octane.

Usually, a lamp object has no UV layer in Blender, so I dont understand the error !

I encounter a weird error in the export process :

@ROUBAL
Are you sure it's not a mesh object called "Blender Lamp" ? Can you strip down the file to just that object and post it here so that I can examine it ?

I have created a new empty Blend file, and using the append function, I have looked in detail to the objects and mesh list, and I confirm that there is no object called Blender Lamp, as well as no lamp other than one unique sun lamp. :roll:

I even opened the blend file with notepad++ and searched the words "Blender Lamp" without success...

Currently I'm trying to delete objects and exporting by parts, but I can't find out where is the trouble.

After deleting half of the objects, I encounter the same message for Blender Camera object !

But a Camera has no UV Layer as well and the only present camera is named camera ! Very weird
bug !

I also deleted all objects with an emit factor, in case they would be renamed as lamps by Blendigo (even if I have chosen Physical Sun +Sky as lighting method).

And this gives a different error message (that could be a clue ?) that you can see below :
