3ds max crash

Post by jinj » Fri May 28, 2010 4:22 am

hi suvakas, I have a problem...
I'm trying to open a max file 2010 file with max 2011 32 bit,
the file is an indigo set scene... the exporter I used to... was the 2.0.12 version.... but it seams not to be an exporter issue... because I downgrade from 2.2 exporter version.... but this not solve the problem.... I also try to open the file with out maxigo... but I have always the same problem.... max crash..
but before to crash I get a series of error message!!
I hope you can help me....because the scene is very important for me!!!
the image are uploaded in the sequence that I get it!!

Hi,
I'm affraid I can't help much.
The 1st screenshot you posted shows, that you have no Maxigo installed. Missing Maxigo dll's and variables. Those other 3 small error messages contain not much info so I can't say anything useful about those. Any other missing plugins you used in 2010 ?

[edit]
Maxigo scenes should still open without Maxigo being installed. So I think Maxigo should be no issue here. You could try to merge the old scene into new one. Sometimes it helps.
