Thank you Psor for the mirror!
I got it. Cant wait to test this baby out =)
I already played around with the older version and i have some questions (maby someone someday has time to answer =)

How do you guys produce a reflective material? I was able to create a refractive mat, but no reflections. Was it possible at all in exporter version RC0.43? How do you create materials anyway? By editing xml manually or in max?

Thanks
Suvakas

[edit] Reflections = solved =)
This new version doesnt produce a good *.bat file though. I get error messages (i did everything as told in readme so it should not be my issue). Seems like there is something up with file paths. I can only render the image by editing inifile.txt

So it seems as if the exporter is putting an extra "/" in the paths when creating the .bat file. here is the error text...

PNG output pathname: 'C:\Indigo/renders/default.png'
Using 4 thread(s).
random number seed: 13373
scene file path: 'C:\Indigo/default.xml'
Using working directory path 'C:\Indigo'.
created world.
Loading Scene 'C:\Indigo/default.xml'...
Using linear tone mapping with scale=4200000.000000
Camera: white balance = D65, using CIE XYZ chromacity (0.312730, 0.329020)
SceneLoaderExcep: failed to load XML doc from path 'C:\Indigo\/defaultmat.xml': Error reading end tag. Line 64, column 1
Fatal Error: SceneLoaderExcep: failed to load XML doc from path 'C:\Indigo\/defaultmat.xml': Error reading end tag. Line 64, column 1

I have meticulously set everything up to eliminate errors. I was wondering if this was a bug that has been fixed or if there is an easy solution?

I have similar errors.
I never ever got it to render via *.bat file. I'm using indigo's materials on everything.

Here is the screenshot of errors i get when starting the rendering in max + content of exporter's *.ini file. Seems like it doesn't find the Indigo path or something (working dir is empty).

Image

[edit]
+content of IndigoRun.bat

Code: Select all

@ECHO OFF

START /B K:\Indigo/Indigo.exe K:\Indigo/default.xml -o
K:\Indigo/renders/default.png -t 1

EXIT

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks in advance !

May be spline in scene..It is one of possible reasons! You must convert it to mesh or delete. . GL

Eh..Problem solved ! :)
I used Indigo 05 instead of 06. Exporter started to work after going to 06_test1 . So. It was my bad after all.
