Shit Fryrender is always crashing and rendering fucking slowly. Quality is light years poorer that MaxwellRender
or Vray. They say Fryrender is unbiased, but is clearly biased and is not computing all kind
of GI. They are cheating us.
Don't buy this cheap copy of MaxwellRender. Is pathetic and I doubt such a copy can be legal.
what do you think of this?
filippo

Hey filippo, sorry to insist, but I don't see what is the point with fryrender. I saw some renders its the forums, and they are very good.
At first at was very disapointed too with indigo, because it was command-line, slow (well I don't think this anymore), and I simply didn't know how to use it accurately (that was before radiance tutorial).
Now I just can't live without it ! (...what am I saying ? must have spent to much time rendering these days...).
Anyway, the text you indicated on emule says exactly the same thing as your previous post. Maybe you have some images to show us for comparison ?
Not that this is important, but well, just to see...

I'm not sure I entirely agree ... from what I've seen of Fryrender, it's looking pretty good so far. I've had a vigorous technical discussion with the author, but aside from that, I can't see any evidence of bias in any gallery renders. Even though it won't be said, it's almost certainly using MLT (maybe ERPT) so no reason it should be biased.
Can you post some example (recent) images?
Ian.
