? how to use Light Layers ?

Post by andstef » Wed Jun 10, 2009 10:49 pm

Hello,
I'm relatively new to Indigo, and I hope you can bear one more annoying noob question.
I'm using 3ds max design 2009 x64 (maxigo 1.15.7-Test1a, and Indigo renderer 2.0.6 x64, on a Windows vista 64 OS) and I can't figure out how to use light layers. I created a scene with several torus knots, and 3 of them had different emitter materials applied, but in the renderer window, there was only one light layer displayed (layer 0)...
So... can someone explain to me how to take advantage of this feature?
Thank you.

Hey and welcome!
Light layers are not supported by currently available Maxigo versions. The new and up to date Maxigo will be available soon. It's in the making and is a high priority task  I'll try to release a beta as soon as possible.
