Here's a small update for IndigoMax.

Changes:

  • Added: Initial version of Indigo camera
  • Added: Compilation for 3dsmax 2016
  • Fixed: Dependency load issue, which manifested in Wrappers.dll warning
Download:
IndigoMax 0.4.1
IndigoMax RT 0.4.1

Notes:
Versions: max2011 / 2012 / 2013 / 2014 / 2015 / 2016 64bit.

Hope for some comments, suggestions and descriptive bug reports. Please post them in this thread or send PM.

Hello subpixel,
the first time I tried indigoMax I had no problem, then I started testing a bit with a simple scene with a box and a teapot and changed the evironment settings. Then, when I opened the material editor and tried to create a new material max crashed. Now max crashes every time when I try to work with the material editor, but this problem only occurs when I have Indigo as renderengine enabled. Tried to reinstall IndigoMax but that didn´t solve the problem.
Last time when 3ds max crashed, it created a dump file. Will it help when I upload it for you?

edit: Do not know what I have done, played around a bit and now it seems to work again. :)

Hello Vasco,
That sounds suspicious. May I ask you to PM me with dump file? I will have a look into it. Thank you for your help.

I think that I have obtain the same kind of error one time.... let me explain:

users\xxxx\Appdata\Roaming\Indigo Renderer\... Fills up as the thumbnails need to generate.
After a while, your C: \ drive is full of tiny .PNG.

You must empty this directory or ask to 3ds Max to not use Indigo renderer to do the materials thumbnails.

That means quicker speed to open the material editor BTW, but yes, the materials thumbnails are totally black.

I recommend you to use the slate material editor, forget to use this old fashion way to create material through 3ds max ;)

Shouldn't you be posting this in a newer thread?
