Re: IndigoMax 0.4.0
Has the support for third-party scatter plugins developed or is it still just at "initial support" stage?
Re: IndigoMax 0.4.0
Maybe I'm overlooking something... But is there some kind of materials library available, within 3DsMax? Or in other words, if I start a new, empty scene, how do I start adding "existing materials"?
For instance, Maxigo had a few buttons to browse "online", and select from dozens (hundreds?) of materials. or alternatively, browse a local folder for saved materials.
But I cannot possibly find anything similar now. So what is the easiest way to add materials to a new scene?

Hello,
Indeed support for material database is limited. You can however build your material database in local folder with downloaded igm/pigm files and load them in Max with Indigo External material. There's no automatic interface for that yet, I'm affraid

No answer? I am looking "re-adopt" IndigoMax for a particular project, but I am unsure as to what level the scattering functionality is.
Re: IndigoMax 0.4.0
Sorry tar_gniK I must have overlooked your question.
Third party scatter plugins are supported fully when it comes to geometry scattering. It's still lacking with shader blending (more precisely variation introduced on shader level). It's working with preset materials though, if system supports such workflow.

Hi guys,
we're just concentrating on getting the first private indigo 4 / GPU beta ready. After that we can focus on the exporters a bit.
