I installed everything according to the tutorials, readme files and videos. put the name of the dir in the inifile but everytime i hit render it export the scene and open the picture viewport and indigo shows an error message:

"indigo.exe has detected a problem and most be closed".

I am using indigo M2I616f with 3dmax9 on athlon xp64 3.2 + 2 gig ram DDR2 on MSI 940 motherboard with n-vidia geforce 7300 pci-express 256 DDR2

Are all your objects mesh's? Do they all have an indigo material? and do you have a mesh object with an emiter material?

incredible that a lack of an emitter makes the error. should be an alert message for that as it is for the camera

In the most recent versions of Indigo it prints an error msg.

you must use Indigo 0.6 official. The latest Max2Indigo only works with that version. Indigo 0.7 has a completely new material system and xml syntax for which exporters for all major 3d apps used need to be rewritten.

But many have successfully used Max9 and U3dreal's Max2Indigo. ;)
