Public alpha release of IndigoMax
Re: Public alpha release of IndigoMax
Hello all,
I've reached most of my goals both for non-blocking behavior as well as for active shade (though it needs some more attention). Right now I'll need to work on some introduced issues in materials management and controls for interactive rendering.
Anyway, there's a question concerning changes within Max SDK. It's much easier to benefit from changes introduced to Max in version 2009 than keep backward compatibility for max 9 and 2008.
So here's my question: Would you need IndigoMax for max 9 or 2008? Please vote.
Cheers,

I use 2012 and 2011, whatever that counts for as a vote =P
Re: Public alpha release of IndigoMax
I use the newest version of max 2011
Re: Public alpha release of IndigoMax
The latest version of 3dsmax is 2012 not 2011
I currently use 3dsmax Design 2012 and will be moving to 2013 when release in the next couple of months.
cheers

any progress ?
Re: Public alpha release of IndigoMax
Hello,
I wasn't able to spend as much time as I'd like on IndigoMax, however most of new features (feedback / non-blocking behaviour) are implemented in mockup version. Including the trickiest one - progressive rendering of material samples (though it's not perfect yet). There had to be some backward incompatible changes introduced, yet scenes merge properly. I'll post new version as soon as possible.
Thank you very much for your patience.
Cheers,
Jake

Don't worry max2013 will be here soon and you will have to use it on the cloud, and render on the cloud for $9.99 a minute using their own renderers...dcm wrote:whole 3ds max situation is sad

Enslaver. Not a solution but an excuse

Ok I admit it was some pretty bad sarcasm.kdarius wrote:Enslaver. Not a solution but an excuse

Hello all,
Thank you for your patience. I'm facing a couple of problems with interactive mode so it will need some more time. However, I could prepare a fast release with some other features, like IGS export and blend material. Any other suggestions?
Cheers,
Jake
