Couldn't reproduce it. Any more specifics about render procedure?
Have you updated Indigo SDK (just checking)?

Thank you for information.

I'm not sure that the averange user can see that thread where to get the latest SDK, since it isn't public: http://www.indigorenderer.com/forum/vie ... 26&t=11424

Maybe its ok to post the direct DL link here...

Well, there's a link in head post to SDK binary. I have agrred it with Nick. Hopefully SDK will be shipped someday with Indigo.
Or am I missing something?

The C4D SDK version of the exporter has the SDK binaries integrated...

SDK updated. Confirmed issue with x64 version of indigo on my system - 32 bit renders fine in max, and also exports. Thanks for working on it.

Anyone else had the same problem or am I an isolated case? lol

Hi Enslaver,

Thank you for your help. I wasn't able to reproduce it anyway, but I've updated indigo SDK to v.3.2.13 which might solve this issue. Please update both SDK and IndigoMax.
I've attached fast test scene internal rendering (needed some light balancing and material reconstruction).

Hope it helps. Thanks again for your time and feedback,
Cheers,
Jake

I'm glad it's working for you.
If you have any questions, I would be happy to explain them. Though some details might be a subject to change.
Anyway, while on this topic, I really hope someone would be that kind to create some manual / documentation when this plugin will be mature enough. I just feel I would not succeed with such task.

Thank you for feedback.

Export works fine.
Same thing happens here, I've installed:
Indigo 3.2
IndigoMax_0.2.109.7z [359.62 KiB]
Indigo SDK v.3.2.13 64 bit DLL

I re-installed the latest SDK and max plugin ( 64bit versions )
Set up the simplest of scenes, two boxes one with and emitter material the other simple grey.
3dsmax just freezes up, and the RAM gets eaten up.

Indigo studio runs fine, could it be I'm running 3dsmax Design ?

System OS Windows 7 64bit, 16Gb RAM.

I also have this issue with the newest version.

Thanks for checking this. Could you check this version with environment set to non-black color (it would disable default lights).
I've prepared also a version built with older SDK version - check this on please. It should reveal source of problem. As noted before I'm not able to replicate it.

Notes:
  • introduces invalid light spheres uids into exported scenes (fixed in new SDK)
  • environment skylight "captured-simulated" model renders as "original" (introduced in new SDK)
Thank you again for all your time and help.

Cheers,

Okay Subpixel,
I tried changing the background environment colour and it didn't work.

But using the latest files you posted does the trick, so far so good.

cheers
