Max 2012 64 bit

Is this the plugin that was used for the new Indigo Render-er? If so it seem to crash any time i try to
- create spline
- cap hole
- then face extrude
- go to render and crash.....

issue 2
I can only use the slate editor for material.... Compact material = crash

.........
It's just that it has been over a year of talk of a better integrated exporter for max. Even if I could export it to an IGS file would work.

Hi kdarius,

Thanks for pointing out a bug. It was related to missing UV data (though SDK claims otherwise). Anyway it was fixed with new release (posted here).
However I wasn't able to reproduce Issue 2. Please post some more info if it persists.

Concerning development, for some time now, I'm working on separate branch which will bring interactive rendering both for material editor (slate and compact) and scene rendering. As well, some workflow enhancements. Internally it means a lot of changes, but should enter closed alpha shortly.

Thanks for feedback and patiance.
Kind regards,
Jake

Thank you for the quick reply.

Issue 1...
Works perfectly now. Thank you. I thought the newest working branch would have been in the indigo render download today but it is not.

Issue 2..
Still for some reason when I go to compact editor it does still crash.

I know you have been thrown into creating a new export over the last year and it is nothing against you but I have been hearing of a good exporter for quite sometime.

Thank you for your hard work.

Hi kdarius,

I've sent you a PM concerning second issue, hope you got it.

Anyway, I would like to note that all bug reports are most welcome and will help in development. As well as any feature requests, though some might need to wait a bit.

Thank you to all for your feedback.

Hello There,

3ds Max 2018 is going to be launched in April.
Could you please anticipate and prepare a compatible exporter?
