Hello,

Are the normal modifiers applied upon exporting?

Thanks!

Hey,

What do you mean by normal modifiers? "Edit Normals" and "Normal" modifiers? If so, then yes, they should get applied. Why?

In fact, I'm not the 3dsmax user here, but I'm asking the question for someone currently designing a buiding I will render with various glass materials.

What we want to do is tilting slightly the polygon normals of the glass, without using bumps or displacement.

So the "normal" and "edit normal" modifiers should do it, as soon as they are taken into account in the export
