The exportes of Indigo on 3DSMAX 7 works to me with the OMNILIGHT with all the others light Indigo crushes. Just like that: common windows error with file Indigo.exe :(
Grazie a tutti :D

Yes Omni light and a target direct (when indigo sunlight is enabled) is the only "max light" it will work with, Indigo uses mesh lights, you'll find a new texture called indigo emmiter. Those are what you use for lights!

The only light you can use is a target direct light to define your physical sky:

and enable the option "Physical sky"
The other options are hdr lighting (exr) or a constant sky.
Finally, you can use mesh emitters, for which you must create an "Indigo emitter" material in max. This will turn any mesh into a source of light.

so summarizing; lights can only be:
1.Target direct light for sky (or a daylight system, target direct is easier)
2. HDR (exr)
3. Constant color in the bkg
4. mesh emitters

oh yes! just remembered! You can use omni lights, but they get converted to Indigo's (what's its name?) meshlights. So you might see some weird squares in your render when using omni lights, hehehehe  You also gotta play around with their sizes (scale).
