Rotation Matrix

Post by suvakas » Fri Jan 19, 2007 2:42 am

Does someone knows how to get the correct rotation matrix for ingio out of Max?
Neither $.rotation as matrix3 or inverse $.rotation as matrix3 gives me the correct result. I've also tested all kinds of $.transform combos 8)

[edit] hmm... this may also be a scene dependant issue. I got it working for now. But still..if someone knows how to do it then i would be really happy to hear a 2nd opinion 8)

I'm not sure of understand your question. For translate to indigo, i'm using
$obj.transform, interchanging y and z values. Translation is WIP, but it's working for now.
