Hello Users and Indigo team,
I wanted to know what elements of blender are supported by Indigo,
like hairs, particles, mesh objects, nurbs ect...
I could see good information on the material section which is encouraging, especially the codable shader elements (I am used to Renderman so nothing to alien for me )
Kind regards,
McHannemann

Re: Blender exporter question
As far as I know particles are out of the question and I believe nurbs are as well but dougal2 who maintains the exporter would be best placed to answer you.

Re: Blender exporter question
NURBS are not available, mostly because they are not supported natively in Indigo.
Normal meshes should be well supported.
Hairs are not supported, again due to a lacking primitive in Indigo.
Certain particle systems will work, mostly for instancing/duplicating mesh objects. Actual infinitessimal particle objects are not supported.
I hope that answers your questions, I look forward to seeing some renders
Doug.
