Post by Jambert » Wed Aug 05, 2009 9:52 pm

How to change Dof during an animation, instead of doing it manualy. Does the value is linked to a blender value?
Thx

In fact you can link it to a object

Well u can Set your "DOF object" to the camera to a "empty" for example,

After that anime the empty and play a little with the nodes to have a nice DOF animated

Happy Blendin

Kinda sounds like you're talking about the node editor inside Blender :?

64Indj - if you:

1. Select Focus distance: "Camera" in Blendigo
2. Press F9 and specify a depth-of-field object (Dof ob) in the Camera controls for blender
3. Then the camera will always focus on the object specified
4. Set the object to have a null material and you can use it to control the depth of field effect

you should just animate it - add an DOF IPO curve to the camera
