From what you say, I suppose the first time you only used materials with a color in the diffuse channel. Now you tried to use some textures but you're not UV mapping your models so Indigo can't find the textures for them.
Wild guess, and anyway, check Radiance's blender tutorial:

Thanks for the help but I figured it out, or it solved itself when I converted a text object to mesh, so it's working now.

ah yes! I forgot about that one. Everything must be converted to mesh prior to exporting to Indigo.

Well, my curve object works fine, so it doesn't have to be a mesh... It's apparently only text that doesn't work.
