Problem with Emitter - Turns Black Behind Glass [SOLVED]

Post by Nitronic755 » Fri Sep 19, 2008 5:34 pm

I couldn't find any record of this occurring before, so I'm posting here...

I'm currently working on modeling and rendering a Saleen S7 in Blender/Indigo (WIP at http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthr ... 908&page=3), and I've hit a problem with the emitter in the headlights. When placed behind glass, it turns black. The normals are all correct and when the emitter is moved so that it's in front of the glass it works as expected.

Is there a solution to this? I can post any info thats required, this is my first post here and I'm not sure what's useful.

Thanks.
