XP Home vs XP Professional

I have two computers, one with xp home , the other with xp pro. I'm trying to get blender-blendigo-indigo to work. The xp home seems to be ready to go, everthing seems fine. The xp pro is installed the same as far as I can tell, but when I click Export Scene, an error window pops up saying
"Indigo.exe has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
If I go directly to the Indigo folder and double click the Indigo.exe icon the same error window pops up. Does anyone have an idea why I am getting this error? I'm crossing my fingers that its an easy fix. Thanks.

You probably need to update to SP2. I'm not sure. But I'm using XP Pro SP2 and it works fine here.
Hope this help.

It's not likely an OS problem - instead, a possible memory issue or your cpu in your pro box doesn't support SSE2 (although when that happens the error is different)

I could be wrong and I don't even know if it's still needed anymore, but it's
possible that your WinXP Professional needs some VC++ files tho.
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)
Probably you'll just need the 2005 stuff and it's unlikely that it will harm
your PC. Hope this will help a bit. ;o))
take care

that didn't change anything. But thanks. This really isn't a critical thing but I'd like to get it straightened out if anyone has anymore suggestions. I'd really be in a bit of distress if this was all i had but I'm going to be OK with it. Just got to get myself motivated to start a rendering to see what other problems you guys can help me with. Thanks
