Increasing Brightness / More Light.

Post by JDA » Sat Mar 29, 2008 6:51 am

Hi :)

1
Room with a mesh emitter, RGB White.
Black Body, Gain 1.0, tempature 6500

2
Room with a mesh emitter, RGB White.
Black Body, Gain 1.0, tempature 6500

Brightness increaded in Paint Shop Pro X

Question.
How do I get it to be bright in image1 like in image 2
without using more mesh emitters and or Paint Shop Pro's adjust brightness?

Well Violet is more or less a Paintshop Pro Lite, with only a very specific subset of features related to image calibration.

It's pretty much a tonemapping problem, JDA.
If using Reinhard, you want more burn.
So lower the burn threshold value from 10. (the default)

Hi

Well here it is after about 5 hours.

I turned the Burned down and it helped.

I'm looking for more light to be evenly
(dispersed /distributed / scattered/ spread) through out the room.

How can that be done without using another application like Violet?

...Using the settings, already in Indigo, instead of setting the afterwards in Violet. (And it'll look the same, so Violet actually is an advantage ;))
