are you sure that there are no self-collision? however, it's very, very slow :(

The cloth-modifier is definitely great (even though it's incredibly slower than the soft body-modifier) but I'm having some problems with it.

First of all, i cant apply it, not in the modifiers stuff, neither by pressing Alt-C.

And second, it doesn't want to render animations automatically. I have to change frame, render, change to next frame, render ect.

Anybody else experiencing that?

Nope, Simon, it works fine for me, including applying in the modifier stack, and it's also a huge deal faster than the softbody modifier. Makes me wonder if your version works as it should.

SmartD: I gather you can apply softbody self-collision on your cloth object, but doing this slows down the calculation so much that I had to stop it after sitting there for half an hour stuck on the same frame...

Hmm, strange. I have "SVN trunk - revision 13513(Tile texture!+CLOTH modif+Zmask rendering+FSA+bugfixed AAO!!! + scripts)" from GraphicAll.

I've tried it on to very different computers with same problems.
Haven't tried it on Linux yet.

EDIT: Someone at the IRC channel helped me. Had to save the blend to enable cache. XD
