Solved: black specular materials?

Ah forget it, just realised I didn't have my normals pointing outwards. It's always the simplest things that cost you hours of effort, isn't it?

I'm driving myself up the wall here, so I hope somebody can help.

I've been happily messing around with glass in Indigo and that's going fine. Whenever I enable SSS, however, my material turns black. I had the same problem with non-transparent materials until I picked up that the IOR needs to be about 0 (or at least less than 1). Am I missing something similar with SSS?

I'm using Blendigo 1.04 with Indigo 1.04, although I had the same problem with 1.01/1.01. Screenshot attached.

Thanks.
