Hi! I play with a scene and sometimes I get "strange colors". When I change the distance to the object (water) it works.

Is your water a specular object with transparency on, or is it glossy_transparent? I had similar problems with a specular material... i believe it is a bug the nick is currently working on

Try changing it to glossy_transparent.

i too got some trouble with the material settings. i have made a simple wave wit a fluid material inside. and when i have applied the glass material in blendigo the material just turn out black. dont know what to do really. is that one part of the bug too? or is there any secret settings i have to do? I have set the material sto specular and hva had glossy transparent and just specular on it. with some different settings for the transparent thingy. like 1.33 and 3.00 and 1.55 etc. but it allways stays black.

I think the error might be due to the glass intersecting the table.
Try moving it like 0.5mm off the table.

HI Ono! It does not work
I deleted the glassplate on the table and had the glass not intersecting the table. But the water intersects the glass.
Still funny black-green-yellow pictures after a short time of rendering.

I deleted some stuff (door, radiator, picture, ... ) because the igs is 25 MB.
It still renders ok(?).
Can I post the original filesize?

The reduced scene still renders with no problems. ??
I try to get it smaller with funny colours.
